Science or Politics July 16, 2014
Trout Unlimited believes science should trump politics. As a result, they strongly disagree with an ill-informed letter to the editor which appeared in the July 16 Sky-Hi News. To read TU's response to these unfortunate comments, click here.

Lions Donate Nearly $60,000
A pride of proud Lions attended our first-ever Grants Award Luncheon at the YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch. We invited all of our new grant recipients to join us for a celebratory lunch intended to give Lions the chance to see just where our hard-earned money goes. The lunch also enabled the grant winners to meet Lions and learn a little about our Club. We're proud to have given out $59,732 earned by our Lions activities. Congratulations to all our grant recipients and to our Club for all our hard work which allows us to be so generous in our community. Photos from the event are available in our online photo album by clicking here. The Sky-Hi Daily News published a photo and brief article about the event on Friday, January 24. Follow this link then flip to page 7 to see the details. For more about our Foundation and the non-profits we support, click the Foundation tab..
This spring, an agreement between Denver Water and Grand County, with significant input from Trout Unlimited, was negotiated. This agreement gives some major concessions to Grand County. To learn more about this very promising agreement on the local Trout Unlimited website, click here.
