Dear Fellow-Lions -

I am sending this message to you because you have either helped screen the vision of Grand County children, volunteered to help in the future and/or have expressed an interest in the FRVLC KidSight program.  I am checking to see if I may keep you on the list of KidSight volunteers and possibly enlist your help at the 2012 Community Developmental Screenings.

The dates and locations are as follows:

• Friday, March 2 - Kremmling Elementary School

• Wednesday, March 7 - Fraser Valley Elementary School

• Thursday, March 8 - Granby Elementary School

We will start screenings at about 8:30am and end at about 3:00pm  (with a break for lunch, of course). 

If you are unable commit a whole day, you may specify morning or afternoon.  Or, if you want to just stop by and observe or learn how to use the photoscreener, you may do that also.  Please let me know your availability and/or confirm your interest in the project by the end of February.  We need 2-volunteers for each screening.  Dave and I will be at the screenings to train and assist with the children.

ALSO -
Since Dave and I are spending more time outside Grand County, I am also looking for another Lion to assume responsibility for keeping the screener and coordinating future screenings as needed.  I am very willing to assist if we are in town and will help train a new coordinator.  At the March 1st Lions Club meeting, I will share more details on the KidSight program.  Please let me know if you are able to help at the March screenings and of your interest in future involvement.
